When you want to move, change your life, commit to doing things that make you happy, or simply want to contribute to the world, but you feel stuck, this playshop will help you to release, relax, and to learn to let go of what is pulling you down.
5Rhythms is a holistic fitness/movement meditation practice addressing each aspect of your life - body, mind and soul, combining dance and mindfulness.
- Please dress in comfy clothes you can sweat in (we dance barefoot or in dance shoes).
- Please arrive 10 min early to sign in and settle in
- Bring your water bottles and an open heart!
- This workshop counts as 3 Waves® hours for the 5Ryhthms® Teacher Training path.

More About the Playshop:
Feeling stuck, tense, tired, or disconnected? During this 3 hour we will explore through 5Rhythms ways to embrace these “negative” feelings and sensations in our bodies. What we resist persists. The way to release and move into more “positive” states of being is IN & THROUGH these sensations. We will play with inertia and tension, through music & movement, with the intention to transform it into, and at the same time learn tools that can be practiced at home that can help set us free when we are feeling STUCK!
More About the Teacher:
Randa Aburayyan is a design architect by profession and a certified 5Rhythms® teacher and certified holistic guidance counselor by passion. Following the desire to be of service to others, she currently dedicates her time to private holistic counseling as well as holding 5Rhythms® classes and workshops to support individual journeys towards the Authentic Self.
More About the 5Rhythms:
The 5Rhythms is a movement meditation practice where we move and dance to rhythmic music sets or what we term as Waves. The five rhythms are Flowing Staccato Chaos Lyrical and Stillness® describing different landscapes of physical movements and in sequence together, they form a “5Rhythms Wave”. This embodiment practice is a way to let go of inhibitions and release tension and frustration. It is a way to shake off the day, the week, and the stress that get stored in our bodies as aches and pains. It’s a way out of inertia and the chattering thinking brain. As Gabrielle Roth (the founder) says, "The fastest way to still the mind is to move the body”.
