"Tune into Your Emotions" is a uniquely crafted group session designed to help you explore, understand, and embrace your feelings in a safe and supportive environment.
What to Expect:
- Creative Expression: Through a combination of visual arts, such as painting, drawing, and sculpture, and the power of music. You'll have the opportunity to creatively express your emotions.
- Guided Exploration: Our experienced and compassionate therapists will guide you through various artistic and musical exercises tailored to help you connect with your feelings, and encourage self-reflection, self-expression, and personal growth.
- Emotional Release: Music has the incredible ability to evoke and release emotions that may be difficult to put into words. Together, we will explore the ways in which melodies, rhythms, and artistic creations can act as bridges to understanding and processing your emotional experiences.
- Group Support: You'll be part of a welcoming and empathetic group of individuals on their own emotional journeys. Sharing your creative expressions and listening to others can provide valuable insights, fostering a sense of community and connection.
- Healing and Growth: "Tune into Your Emotions" aims to facilitate healing and personal growth by helping you gain insights into your emotional landscape, reduce stress, and increase self-awareness. By the end of the session, you'll have a deeper appreciation for the beauty and complexity of your emotions.
No prior artistic or musical experience is required—all levels of expertise are welcome. Come as you are, and let the expressive arts and music guide you on a path of self-discovery and emotional connection. About Rana Akasheh:
Rana is a dedicated Art Therapist who is passionate about helping individuals express themselves and resolve conflict through artistic mediums. Her approach involves designing and implementing individualized and group therapy programs that incorporate various artistic techniques and applied psychological theories, and using different types of arts therapy such as painting and drawing, clay making, drama and acting, music and writing (journaling).
Facilitating group and individual art therapy sessions, where art becomes a powerful tool for healing and personal transformation, she has witnessed the transformative power of creative expression. Guiding individuals through challenges such as anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem, she has witnessed their growth and resilience. Through this empowering journey of self-discovery, together we can unlock the artist within and embrace a life of well-being.
About Emad Kakish:
Emad is a dedicated music therapist with the experience of helping individuals unlock their emotional and cognitive potential through the power of music. He tailors therapeutic sessions to address the unique needs and goals of each client, and uses a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches to facilitate personal growth and healing.
He has extensive knowledge of music theory, performance, and its therapeutic applications to enhance mental and emotional well-being. Emad has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and connection with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary colleagues. He is passionately committed to creating a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment that encourages individuals to explore their emotional and psychological depths, using music as a medium for self-expression and healing.
